All human behaviour is habit based, this is where the saying 'humans are creatures of habit' comes from. When we do something often enough to know how to do it without even thinking, it becomes a habit. Habits can be both good for us and bad for us. For example, breathing, blinking, are good habits whereas nail biting or always misplacing our car keys is not so good for us.

The good news about habits are that they are extremely easy to break and extremely easy to establish.
