Here you will find answers to the most commonly asked hypnotherapy questions that are asked by our clients.
Will hypnotherapy help with … ?
I get lots of emails from people asking if hypnotherapy can be used to help with a wide range of different things. To date, I haven’t had to say no to anyone. Hypnotherapy is a great aid in making many changes and when being asked what I can work with I often respond with “it’s easier to tell you what I don’t work with”. Almost every goal can have benefit from hypnosis. Whether it’s an all out solution or part of a more complex treatment plan everyone can get some benefit of varying degrees from hypnotherapy.
How much does it cost?
The cost of hypnotherapy depends on your goal and the number of sessions you may need. A full fee schedule can be found our hypnotherapy costs page.
Do you offer concession rates?
Yes, please contact me to discuss the hypnotherapy costs for concession card holders. Don’t forget to include your goal in your contact. Acceptable concession holders are pensioners, disability allowance recipients, students, health care card holders, unemployed and anyone who is claiming a Centrelink allowance.
Can I claim Hypnotherapy on my private health insurance?
Full information about private health insurance is available on our private health insurance page. Depending on your private insurer you may be able to claim Hypnotherapy against your insurance. You will need to contact them to make sure you are covered prior to booking with Lifestyle Hypnosis. Please note we cannot process instant claims, you will need to take your hypnotherapy invoice back to your private health insurer.
Do You Guarantee Success And What Is Your Refund Policy?
When working with the mind guarantees cannot be made. Everyone is different and everyone will have different progress in their goals. Lifestyle Hypnosis has a no refund policy. If you are unable to keep your scheduled and prepaid appointments we will hold those appointments for you for up 12 months. If you purchase a package and choose to not continue with that package for any reason, no refund will be given.
I’m sceptical of hypnosis and have my doubts that I can even be hypnotised. Is this going to affect what you do for me?
The short answer is no. Every day I see clients with varying levels of faith in the process of hypnotherapy and they each get their tailored hypnotherapy to suit their needs, personality and goals. A healthy level scepticism can actually help the process in most cases and everyone can be hypnotised. It just takes some people longer than others to relax.
